The following currency notes ($1 through to $100) are from a locally- based Gentleman’s superb collection formed over many decades.
He has asked that any profits that may arise from the sale of these currency notes be donated to the “Buy Back Bermuda Campaign” a local conservation group (under the auspices of The Bermuda Audubon Society and The Bermuda National Trust) dedicated to purchasing open green space in Bermuda threatened by development.
The aim of the campaign is to save the land for posterity for the enjoyment of future generations.

Both the Society and the Trust are registered as 401 (C) (3) entities for U.S. tax purposes.
The following fifty-five Bermuda Currency
(decimal) bank notes are available in almost every case in
uncirculated
condition (unc).
The ONE DOLLAR NOTE ($1) was the first note
issued by the Bermuda Government in 1970 following the break with the pound
sterling.
In 1988, with the introduction of the $2
bill, the $1 bill was withdrawn and subsequently was demonetized. Hence, it is extremely difficult to
find one, certainly in uncirculated conditional and with a low serial number.
